During the Hand-Shaping course, you'll learn the art of clay shaping step by step. We'll work with various techniques, from clay slicing and coiling (making and joining rolls of clay) to the basics of sculpting and hollowing out your work.

Beginners discover the possibilities of hand-forming with clay, while experienced students work on their own project, deepening their skills and learning new techniques.

You will also become acquainted with decorating with engobes (clay slip), sgraffito (making incisions) and glazes, and you will learn to work with the tools and equipment in the studio.

Whether you are just starting out or already have experience, you will go home with work that you can be proud of.

All materials are included – 10 kilos of clay, glazes, and firing your pieces. Coffee, tea, or water with snacks will be provided during the class.
