At our studio at the edge of the city center of Delft you will learn the basics of pottery throwing – from the first throw to a gorgeous result. What's more fun than drinking from your homemade mug or bowl? In this course, you'll learn the art of pottery making step by step. The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students.
During the course, you'll learn how to prepare and center the clay. You'll then work on the basics of shaping. Next, you'll delve deeper into building walls, creating cylindrical and spherical shapes, and learning how finish your work.
Advanced students learn to make larger pieces, create more complex pieces, and further develop their technique. During the last half hour, we clean the studio together again so the next group will be welcomed in a clean space.
