Masterclass Decorating Chinese Porcelain
Li Zhen en Liu Lulu, two gifted ceramists from Jingdezhen, China are visiting from China especially for the celebration of 40 years Terra Delft. They will teach a masterclass together with Simone Haak, ceramist and owner of Gallery Terra Delft.
Spend an afternoon exploring the world of Chinese porcelain. You'll learn about the rich history of Chinese pottery traditions, unique painting techniques, and the decorative motifs that have elevated ceramics to art for centuries.
You'll work hands-on with authentic Chinese brushes — or use Chinese decals — to decorate a porcelain piece that will then be glazed and fired. After firing, you can take your work home. The workshop is open for everyone. Experience is not required.
