Your own workshop

We regularly get asked whether we can host a company outing or bachelorette/bachelor party. We can! Would you like to book your own workshop with colleagues, friends, or family? At Clay Time, we offer several options

Workshops

• A hand-building workshop, where everyone makes 1 or 2 of their own pieces and then glazes them as well. You will be surprised by all the different outcomes. Everyone starts with the same amount of clay and the results are so creative ranging from a cup, to a sculptured cat with a hat or a water lily pond. This is available for up to 16 people, and more by arrangement.

• A pottery wheel workshop. This is available for up to 8 people. This is a great workshop for a party or a group not afraid of getting dirty. Fun and giggles guaranteed. At the end of the session you will have one or two items to be fired in the oven. We do supply aprons. 

• A pottery glazing workshop. Our master potter Ankie Bonnet makes beautiful handmade cups and bowls that are ready to be decorated. After firing you can pick them up. 

• A combination workshop — hand-building and wheel throwing. We offer this for larger groups, for example from 8 to 10 people up to 16 people.

Pricing

A session costs €400 for up to 6 people. Each additional person is €60 extra. The workshop is fully catered with coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks. Firing your work is of course included. The workshop lasts 2.5 hours. You can pick up your work after 2 weeks.

For company outings, the rate is €330 excluding VAT for 6 people, and €50 excluding VAT for each additional person.

Also available: a glazing workshop

• A glazing workshop, where everyone glazes a tile, mug, or bowl. You choose an item that has already been bisque-fired and then decorate it. We have a large selection of glazes in all kinds of beautiful colors — create the most wonderful combinations.

• This workshop lasts 2 hours and costs €270 for 6 people, and €45 per additional person for up to 16 people.

Availability

• Workshops can often be scheduled in the late afternoon or, for example, on Saturday afternoons.

• Request a quote and we'll get in touch to discuss everything.

• You're also welcome to call to talk through your ideas. Sometimes we can't answer because our hands are covered in clay. Just leave a message and we'll call you back.
